Bidding Rules for That's Entertainment Items
| How our bidding process works We realize that some parents may not be able to attend all or part of the Fiske Fair, or may be so busy there that bidding at the Auction becomes difficult. This web site was set up to ensure that everyone in the Fiske Community has an opportunity to participate in the Silent Auction. We hope you will take advantage of this site and bid generously! Adult bidders only, please. Remember to keep checking this site, as new items come in daily. Thank you to Sue Bruce for creating and managing this web site. Anne Lee Chair of the Silent Auction Committee On-line Bidding Guidelines ~ On-line bids will be accepted from 8.00am on Wednesday, April 30th until 5.00pm on Saturday May 3rd. The minimum bid is posted next to each item, followed by the minimum raise. Both bids and raises must be made in full dollar increments. ~ To place a bid, click the highlighted 'bid now' link. On-line bids are accepted in the order of the time/date stamp attached to each bid submission. The high bidder and high bid will be noted beside each auction item once bidding has started. You may need to 'refresh' the website page to see updated bid amounts. Please remember ... this is not Ebay! We are processing your bids by hand and updating the Fiske Fair website manually. ~ The amount of your bid will be immediately entered as the high bid if it exceeds the present bid. Fair Day Silent Auction Bidding ~ The maximum bids at the end of the on-line bidding will open bids at the Fair. Bidding continues until 2.30pm. If your bid remains the top bid, you win! ~ Winners will be contacted right after the Fiske Fair ends at 3.00pm. ~ To claim an item, please bring cash or a check made out to 'Fiske School PTO' for the exact amount of the bid. ~ Items can be claimed at Fiske until 4.30pm the day of the fair, or by arrangement through the Auction Chairs. |
